We recommend that you carefully go through our Terms of Use, to better understand the different features of our service. By subscribing to the registration process at Kidsrary, Members accept all the points mentioned here under:

1. Eligibility

Any individual who signs up and registers on our website for the membership shall enter all the required details correctly and true to their knowledge.

2. Non Transferable membership/ No Re-lending of book:

No member shall transfer the membership to any other person. He/ She shall not even re-lend the books borrowed from Kidsrary at any point of time. Doing so will automatically lead to membership cancellation.

3. Book Exchange/ Delivery Plans

The Book Exchange/ Delivery plan will freeze for a month on selection of weekly(7 days) / fortnightly (15 days) plan. However, a member subscribing for more than a month will be able to switch his/ her exchange plans from weekly to fortnightly exchange or vice versa which again shall freeze for a month.

4. Refund of Subscription Amount

We do not provide any refund for the Subscription Plans. However in the below mentioned cases we will refund the amount deducted for:

· Any transaction/ wrongful charge gained done due to system error

· Subscription not confirmed but amount deducted.

The refund shall be in same mode as your payment mode.

5. Payment terms

· Subscription: Once you select any subscription plan, the membership shall commence as soon as the payment is done.

· Shop: The Order of books made by adding to the shopping cart shall process only after 100% advance payment is made.

Unless otherwise stated, all payments (Subscription/ Shop) through the Website shall be made using the Paytm Portal or Cash on Delivery

6. Ordering Books

· Subscribed books: All book related orders submitted to www.kidsrary.com through the Website are subject to our acceptance. The transaction between the member and Kidsrary in respect of the Books ordered will be deemed completed upon delivery of the said Books. The Books added in Booklist (which are not available for booking as the book is presently allotted to other member) will be allotted to you in the order of waitlist.

· The Shop: The Books ordered, shall be made strictly through 100% advance payment. Thereafter, the books shall be availed to you within 15 days subject to availability of such books.

Kidsrary reserves all the rights to cancel or terminate any order, for any reason whatsoever, including non-availability of books even after a Booking Order is confirmed. However, in such an event, the amount paid in advance shall be refunded to you within 7-10 working days or post that period the amount shall reflect to the member’s wallet post which can be utilized for shop purchases only.

7. Lost or Damaged books

At Kidsrary, we take utmost care to maintain books in good condition. However, the displayed image and the quality and condition may differ.

· Any anomaly (unprinted pages) or damage if found should be reported immediately to the delivery executive or within two working days by Friday 11:55 pm to Team Kidsrary in writing through Whatsapp/ Email/ SMS when the book is delivered at the door. Failure to check and/or report the same will be constituted as if the member has received the book/s in good condition.

· As soon as the book is returned to the library it will be checked for any damage of book(s) and informed to the member accordingly. Refer to the Page “What after Book Return?” for details of book damage and actions required.

· The determination of a book being classified with “major damage” will be at the sole discretion of Kidsrary. Members can choose to pay the discounted price of Kidsrary Shop for that book, or the same amount shall be deducted from the refundable deposit. Thereafter, the deposit amount needs to be replenished within a week (7 days) of intimation of damage, else the membership shall be terminated with immediate effect and the net deposit amount (Balance of Refundable Deposit) shall be refunded.

Example: if payable price due to major damage is Rs. 450, refundable deposit will be utilised and the remaining amount will be refunded with immediate cancellation of membership)

8. Refundable Deposit

· Upon expiry of membership: A member shall initiate a request to claim the refundable deposit. Kidsrary sends reminders over emails to its members for renewal of the subscription or collection of the refundable deposit. However, the refundable deposit cannot be refunded back unless been requested for.

The refund will be given in the same mode in which payment was made by the member. In case the same route is unavailable for the member, we will process the refund only on receiving and verifying the details of new accounts.

Kidsrary shall wait till 6 months after expiry of the membership for a member to claim the refund. Yet if the member doesn’t respond or claim the refund, Kidsrary reserves the right to classify the account as ‘Inactive’ and to treat the member as “not reachable” and the deposit as “claimable later” if no response from the member is received on the reminder communications. However, the same can be revoked as per the then refundable deposit amount in foreseeable future, when the member choose to rejoin and opt for the subscription.

· Replenishment of Deposit in case of Major Damage: In case of major damage caused to the book/(s) (as detailed in “What after Book Return?”), if the member doesn’t purchase the damaged book/(s) at the discounted price mentioned at Kidsrary Shop, the said price shall be deducted from the refundable deposit balance and thereafter, the member needs to replenish the same within a week (7 days) of intimation of damage, else the membership shall be cancelled with immediate effect.

Note1: Replenishment of Deposit means to fill up the balance of refundable deposit left after deduction of the Kidsrary Shop Price for the damaged book, and bringing back the refundable deposit amount to Rs 500.

Note 2: For books having Shop Price of Rs.500 or more, the member is requested to purchase the book straight at the Shop price mentioned on the website. Else, membership shall terminate immediately due to exhaustion of the refundable deposit against the book damage.

In case of any discrepancy or non-payment of the difference amount, we reserve all the rights to terminate the membership. In this case, the deposit amount will be used to pay off the Kidsrary shop price and the remaining amount will be returned back to the member in the same mode as was used while making membership payment.

9. Book Hospital

Books categorized and marked for Minor Damage (5-10%), as detailed in “What after Book Return?”, shall be repaired for the visible damage caused and transferred to the book hospital, where the books will be available at more discounts! Parents can choose to purchase these preloved books and opt for any of the following benefits:

· Save your investment and let your child read and enjoy the book.

· Leave your worries for the possible damage caused to a book by their mischief.

· Choose to purchase and donate the books to the needy! Teach Charity to the Young Minds!

10. Reading period

Kidsrary proposes a reasonable reading period with a restriction on the number of books that a member can hold at any point in time. Every member must return/ exchange the book in the stipulated time period. Kidsrary reserves the right to contact and request members holding book/s to be returned. Members are requested to update their contact details periodically when changed.

11. Definition of a BOOK

It is important to note that each title catalogued in Kidsrary gets the same treatment irrespective of size, cost & target reader.

12. Temporary suspension of membership

Through a feature called “Pause”, Kidsrary allows the member to pause the membership (temporary suspension), for a duration of 1 week, 2 weeks or 4 weeks for the 3 months, 6 months and 12 months plan respectively, before expiration of membership. During Subscription Holiday period, a member will not be able to use the library. To activate this feature a member can click the “Pause” tab in the ‘My Account’ section or inform us via email/phone call. All issued books should be returned to the Kidsrary before the start date of Subscription Holiday.

13. Changes to Terms of Use

Kidsrary reserves the right, from time to time, with or without notice, to change these Terms of Use in its sole and absolute discretion. If any changes were made by Kidsrary, you will only be notified via an information bar at the top right hand corner of the page after you log in to the account. Each time you see the notification, you should visit and review the then current Terms Of Use and PRIVACY POLICY that apply to your online transactions and use of the Site The most current version of these Terms of Use can be reviewed by clicking on the “Terms of Use” located at the bottom of the pages of the Kidsrary website- www.kidsrary.com. The most current version of the Terms of Use will supersede all previous versions.

If you are dissatisfied with the Site, its Content or do not accept the Terms of use, please discontinue your use of the Site. Your continued use of our service shall mean that you have agreed to all the changes present in the current version.

14.  Data Security Policy

At Kidsrary, protecting your information is a priority. To prevent unauthorized access and maintain data accuracy, we have put in place appropriate procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Information provided by a member, while signing up to Kidsrary services, such as identification and contact details, will be for the exclusive use of Kidsrary. Kidsrary may use this information to send regular communications about service related, third party source or any other relevant information. Kidsrary uses the information collected from you to provide you with access to our services and services from our affiliates and to monitor your use of such services. Please refer to the PRIVACY POLICY for more details on the collection, use and protection of personal information.

The ‘Terms of Use’ of Kidsrary is critical in its continuous efforts to offer a unique reading experience to members. Please read the conditions & stipulations set forth in this document.
