Kidsrary is an online platform of children’s book library for ages 0 to 6 years, delivering books right to your doorstep. Our collection includes top national as well as international children’s books. We also have a collection of classic children’s authors, famous publishers and series and much more.
Our founders – Shivangi and Sweta, both passionate readers themselves and mothers have personally and carefully curated the Kidsrary collections, staying updated in the world of children’s book. Our collection includes both national and international bestsellers as well as classics, favorite titles from over the years and from around the world.
As a home-delivery reading library, we aim to make the reading experience hassle-free, affordable and enjoyable for both parent and the child. All you need to do is become a Kidsrary member, select you books from our online catalogue over the website and wait for Wednesday for the books to be delivered at your doorstep. Kidsrary membership gets you access to our wide range of collection of books so you can choose from among children’s favorite series/authors/titles across various categories and genres. Also while children love to read buying original books can always be expensive, not to mention create storage difficulties for parents. The website has a comprehensive ‘search’ feature available at the top of most pages. You can search for the type of book you are looking for, for e.g. Flip and Flap/bath books/Flashcards or through a keyword related your book of interest or just browse according to age and category. You can also make use of our refined search options for a simpler and intuitive search.
A wish-list is a list where you can maintain books that you like and would like to order in the near future. You can add a book to the wish-list by selecting the heart icon on any book.
Once you select one/multiple books as per your membership, our ‘add to cart’ feature will keep your selection in a single checkout list. This allows you to place an order for your books with one single click.
This list contains books that may not be available or out of circulation for that particular week. Members can book it by adding it to the Book List so as to receive it as soon as it is available. Members can also add books which they prefer for the coming weeks and can plan entire book exchange program for future/ Subscription month and can maintain their lists too! Thus these books can then be sent and delivered even if the booking cart is not updated from the member’s end for the coming week! You can add books to this list by selecting the book icon on any book.
You can refer www.kidsrary.com to your friends via the refer-a-friend section. Once your friend receives an email notification of your referral and subscribes to Kidsrary as a member, you will receive a 2 week extension (i.e. 2 books per 2 week, totaling to 4 books) on your existing plan.
Shop is the tab for you to give an option to purchase from our collection. We provide both COD and online payment options for this section.Purchase option on our entire collection at a discounted price and other activity books which are available only for purchasing. So you can subscribe, try and identify the child’s favorite to own one of the subscribed ones too.
This section is for the book with Minor Damage (Refer “What after Book Return?”), which we mend and bring to useable condition. These preloved books are available for purchase at more discounted prices.Parents can choose to purchase these preloved books and opt for any of the following benefits:

Yes. We have books for expecting mothers as well as for parents to enhance their parenting skills, knowledge and help understand their child better. There is a separate filter in Categories named ‘Mothers Rescue’, ‘Baby on Board’ and in age category named ‘Parents.’
To become a member, Register with us, Visit “Subscription plans” page and select a plan suitable to you and your child’s needs. Be a Member. Browse. Borrow. Read. Return. Repeat! Once you have selected your subscription plan and made the payment, you can begin browsing and selecting your books and then just wait and relax for the free doorstep delivery. The books will be collected from your door step as per your delivery date selection.
We offer monthly, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months subscription plans with a choice of weekly or fortnightly book exchange for each plan. For more details refer to our “Subscription plans” page.
While our weekly plan allows you to borrow 2 books per week, the fortnightly plan allows the member to borrow up to 4 books every 15 days. In either case a member will benefit to explore 8 books/ month!
We recommend fortnightly plans for 0-2.5 years as they need more frequent glimpse on the pages and stories. For ages above 2.5 years, we recommend weekly plans. To understand your child’s interest as well as for letting the books make a deeper impression in the curious brains, a member must also consider repeating previous book/(s).
Yes. The Book Exchange plan will freeze for a month on selection. However, a member subscribing for more than a month will be able to switch his/ her exchange plans from weekly to fortnightly exchange or vice versa which again shall freeze for a month.
You cannot hold two accounts with the same email id and mobile number. However, if you need to, you can subscribe for another email id and become a member.
If you have two children, and you think this is required for two of them separately, then No! There’s an option to “add child” details in your profile. This can be done when you register for the first time or even after you login and go to your profile to make the necessary addition in child details.
We offer you to select two books of any age group and category. You can avail this at same residence address with no change in delivery address.
You can view them in your Booking history (For Subscribed Books) & My Orders (For Purchased Books) in the “My Account” section.
You will receive an email on registering for Kidsrary, once you select your books, every Wednesday or every second Wednesday based on your subscription plan (Weekly/fortnightly) you will be receiving your books at your doorstep.
Click on the ‘forgot password?’ link, enter your Email ID and your password will be emailed to you.
You can call or write in to customer-care at support@kidsrary.com in case you forget your login id.
Once subscribed for a membership, you cannot cancel the membership until it automatically expires and you claim back your refundable deposit.
We do not give any refund of the membership fees once subscribed. Read Terms of Use for cases where we do.

You will receive your books on fixed day of every week or as per your membership plan. The delivery notification will be sent to you via email as well and the details will be reflected into your account.

No. We provide members with a free delivery/pick-up service.
You will be notified about your book delivery. In case of your unavailability, you can call us beforehand and either re-schedule the delivery or get it delivered to the person you refer to like the watchman or the neighbour.
The number of books would be 2, 3 (in case of clubbed set of book only) or 4 – depends on the plan you opt for.
You have to return all of the books received in previous delivery in order to get the next set of books in the upcoming delivery.
No. We don’t recommend that. However if you are unavailable for pick up you can contact us and reschedule it.
Your pickup will be scheduled as per your subscription plan. Incase if you want to request a pickup at a specific time you can call us and we will try to schedule it as per your request.
All the books are set with great care yet in case of any discrepancy, you can call us, email us or shoot us a message on the enquiry page and we will send you the correct book as soon as possible. Meanwhile you can choose to enjoy the book as received.
Any anomaly (unprinted pages) or damage if found should be reported immediately to the delivery executive or to us within two working days of receiving the same ie by Friday, 11:55 pm in writing through whats app or SMS or Email. Refer Terms of Use for more details. Also refer ‘What after Book Return?’.
The website maintains a book-wise wait list which is referred as ‘book-list’. You will be sent your selection in the order of the same. We try to give you the books as per your priority, but if the same is in circulation then you get the next available book.
Yes, the book will be delivered on the scheduled date. If you are not at home, our delivery man will call you. You can choose to get the books delivered may be to the watchman or neighbour.
You can choose to pause your account if you are going for a vacation but you have to return the books which you have before going on your vacation. We allow you the option of pausing the account for the following durations:

Your suggestions are very valuable to us. If you have any suggestions or recommendations of any book, you can write to us about the book in the contact us section. We will try our best to add that book to the Kidsrary library.
You can connect us if you wish to sell/donate your old books to the library; we have “book hospital” section on our website. Contact us and our service team will get in touch with you.
We have a separate section for purchase of books from our collection; you can click on our Shop section.
We provide a free pick and drop services at your doorsteps. The books to be returned will be exchanged at your doorstep when you receive the new books for the week/fortnight. The delivery man will not give you the books until you have returned the previous ones.
No, as all our pick-ups are scheduled so our system tracks the progress of the books till we receive them. You can check the status by sign-in your account.
Once you have received your set of books, you can add your next set of books to cart anytime until the day prior to the next delivery day. You can also add your preferred books to the booklist at any time so we can send those books if you don’t order any books.
We will select the books on your behalf and send them across to you.
In case if you didn’t receive delivery, we request you to verify your address details on our website. Sign in and check My Account, and review your delivery address to ensure that the information is correct. If you have verified your shipping address, you could report this problem by contacting us.

If you lose or damage a book (beyond repair condition), you will be charged the shop price (discounted price) of the book as on the website in Shop Category. The amount shall be paid by your goodself. In case, you don’t pay the amount, the same shall be deducted from your refundable deposit.
You have to pay the amount been deducted from your refundable deposit and refill the balance back to Rs.500. This replenishment needs to be done within 7 days of intimation of damage. Failure to this will terminate the membership with immediate effect. Refer terms of use for more details.
The Shop price of damaged books will be deducted from your refundable deposit. In case you fail/forget to replenish (refill) the refundable deposit balance back to Rs 500 within the prescribed time, the balance in the refundable deposit after such deduction will be returned back to you.
You are always welcome to be a part of Kidsrary. After clearing the previous dues, a fresh account can be activated on the same login id, phone number, delivery address, etc. In this case, Terms of Use shall be strictly abided by.
You can keep the books with you as per your subscription plans. Please return the books at the end of the week/fortnight as you can enjoy more books for child from our diverse collection. We may also have other bookings for your set in the book-list as well.
You can use UPI’s, Paytm or Cash on Delivery to pay for your membership or to purchase from our collections.
We do accept Cash on Delivery for the membership subscriptions. Cash on Delivery is also available for our Shop and Book Hospital section. Our delivery executive shall hand over the books to you on receiving the cash for subscription!
